No Muslim representation in civil, police administration: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari on Thursday said that the government has terminated eighty lakh Kashmiris as they found no representation in civil and police administration.

Talking to reporters during party workers convention at party headquarters Srinagar, Bukhari said that it is not only twenty two employees who have been terminated from the service for militant links but the government has terminated 80 Lakh Kashmir Muslims as they find no representation in administration.

Replying a question over joining of former J&K Bank Chairman Parvaiz Nengroo in People’s conference, Bukhari said that one who joins politics for the purpose of serving people, Apni Party will always welcome him irrespective of which political party they goes in.

Taking a dig on administration, Bukhari said that they have come out to sell the resources here of Jammu and Kashmir.

“You are a tenant here, you have to go back,” Bukhari said while referring to the administration adding that one day you will have to hold elections here and “we will hold you accountable for the resources of Jammu and Kashmir you have sold”.

“They are saying that those having self interest in Darbar Move are against it. I must say them I am against it and I am the first who opposed it,” Bukhari said adding that no politician from Jammu opposed this move.

Bukhari also said that they will not allow to stop the centuries old practice of Darbar Move as it is only to create emotional wedge between two divisions.
