Bajrang Dal to hold pan-India protest against civilian killings in Kashmir

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) condemned the targeted killings in Kashmir and announced that the Bajrang Dal will hold a pan-India protest, reported India Today.

The protest has been called after seven civilians were killed in the last one week in Jammu and Kashmir, 6 among them in Srinagar city alone.

According to the statement issued here, the group has said that it will also burn the effigies of Pakistan for its alleged role in “sponsoring terrorism in India”.

The VHP further said that “only resettlement, rehabilitation and free movement of Hindus, Sikhs in the Kashmir Valley can do away with terrorism there”.

The VHP said its youth wing Bajrang Dal is “hurt by the brutal killings of Hindus in Kashmir and will hold demonstrations across the country tomorrow and burn the effigy of terrorist Pakistan”.

“The Central government should teach a lesson to Pakistan to put a curb on jihadi terrorism,” the VHP general secretary Milind Parande said in the statement.

Parande also asked the centre to ensure proper arrangements for the rehabilitation of Hindus. “We know very well how to give a befitting reply to radical Jihadi terrorism. Every single worker of Bajrang Dal and VHP is ready for this,” he added.
