BJP passes resolution saying will form Govt on its own in JK

Jammu: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would form the government on its own without any outside support due to the party’s huge support among the masses, a resolution of the BJP’s J&K unit said at the conclusion its two-day working committee meet at Vijaypur.

Addressing the meeting, Tarun Chugh, said, “People are fed up with dynastic politics of NC, PDP and Congress and their leaders are deserting those corrupt parties.”

He held first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru and National Conference (NC) founder Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah responsible for restricting development in J&K.

In his presidential address, the BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina said, “Before going home from this working committee every BJP leader should take a pledge to ensure win of more than 50 seats in next assembly elections.”

Union MoS PMO Jitendra Singh spoke about the role of PM Narendra Modi-led government in the successful management of the Covid pandemic. Ashish Sood spoke on extending party activities among the masses and shared strategies for the same.

Nirmal Singh presented the resolution on the security scenario. Ashok Koul discussed the organisational matters to strengthen the party in all Mandals up to booths.

Chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi presented the draft of the political resolution for discussion.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, Sat Sharma, and Drakshana Andrabi seconded the resolution.

The resolutions were adopted after including recommendations from BJP delegates with detailed discussions on the issues contained in the draft.

BJP National General Secretary and Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, National Secretary Narinder Singh, Union MoS PMO Jitendra Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood, former BJP J&K presidents Nirmal Singh, Ashok Khajuria, Sat Sharma, former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta, BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul and other senior leaders participated in the meeting.
