Srinagar: Mother of late Kashmiri journalist Izhaar Wani, passed away at her home in south Kashmir’s Pampore on Tuesday.
The deceased Haleema Akhtar, 70, according to family, left for the heavenly abode at around 10: 45 pm on November 30.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Ghulam Rasool Wani, her two children, and a family of late Izhaar Wani,
Akhtar was buried at her ancestral graveyard on Gupkar road this morning. As per the family, the congregational Fateh Khawani would be held on Saturday.
