Three guests, driver kidnapped in Delhi, claims former Andhra Pradesh MP

New Delhi: Jithender Reddy, a former Member of Parliament of India from Andhra Pradesh, claimed that three of his guests and his driver were kidnapped in Delhi.

Reddy’s flat in New Delhi’s South Avenue neighborhood hosted the visitors and the driver.

Reddy on his Twitter handle posted: “Shocking incident at my residence in Delhi. My personal driver Shri Thapa and social activist Shri Ravi Munnur were kidnapped last night.” He further wrote that he had filed a police report and hoped for a swift resolution.

A video of unidentified people forcing four people into a car and driving away was also released by the former MP. Reddy alleges that the abduction was caught on a CCTV camera.

According to Delhi Police, they got a report alleging that four people sleeping at Reddy’s flat in Central Delhi were kidnapped by unknown people.

Meanwhile, police have registered a kidnapping case and an investigation has been initiated in this regard.
