Amit Shah on 2-day visit to JK from today

Srinagar: The Home Minister of India Amit Shah will arrive in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday as part of his two-day visit.

Shah is scheduled to be in the Valley today and would possibly speak at the CRPF Raising Day parade at the Maulana Azad Stadium, reports said.

Shah will also chair a high-level situation review with senior officials from the MHA, Jammu and Kashmir police, CAPFs, intelligence agencies, and the civil administration.

During his visit, Shah will stay at the Raj Bhawan. On Saturday, he will speak at the CRPF Raising Day parade at the Maulana Azad Stadium.

Jitendra Singh, MoS (PMO), is scheduled to accompany Shah on his tour, as will AK Bhalla, India’s Home Secretary, CAPF DGs, and leaders of central intelligence agencies.

As per the reports, the Home Minister of India will review the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in backdrop of the recent killings of three Panchayat members and two armed forces personnel.
