Aerial surveillance going on in suspected localities in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday said that aerial surveillance is going on in suspected localities of Srinagar to look for “anti-socials, criminals’ militants and Over Ground Workers” with the help of high-resolution cameras.

Police said the drones may not be visible from the ground and assured that life property and citizens will be safeguarded.

Sharing an aerial view through a 31-second video, Srinagar police in a tweet said, “aerial surveillance is going on in suspected localities of Srinagar looking for anti-socials, Criminals, terrorists, OGWs, etc using modern drones with high-resolution cameras, these may not be visible from ground but be assured that life, property of citizens will be safeguarded.”
