Srinagar: The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir on Monday directed all the registered private hospitals, private OPD clinics, and clinical labs to share the data regarding non-communicable diseases with the concerned chief medical officers.

According to an order, accessed by the news agency Kashmir News Observer, private hospitals and labs have been asked to share the date on a weekly basis in order to manage the non-communicable disease at the early stages and lessen the effects on the lives of the people.

The order stated that CMOs shall ensure the collection of the data from registered private hospitals, OPD clinics and clinical labs.

“They shall share the same with the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir on a fortnightly basis so as to update the database at the Directorate level,” it reads.
