Srinagar: Kashmiri Muslims thronged markets for preparations ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr in Srinagar’s Goni Khan Market on Friday.
People were seen buying bread, meat, and other Eid essentials. Women from different age groups were seen applying Henna on their hands. However, shopkeepers say that the overall market sentiment was low this year.
People were also seen thronging different sanctums to bid adieu to the last Friday of Ramazan – Jumatul Vida.
Here are some glimpses of faith and festivity that dominated the day.
