Jerusalem: Israeli forces on Thursday prevented Palestinian Muslim worshippers from entering al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem during a raid by hundreds of settlers to the holy site compounds.
According to the Islamic Waqf, as quoted by WAFA news agency, Israeli forces prevented worshippers from entering the Mosque and forced those inside to leave it.
Earlier today, Israeli Jewish supremacist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed the compounds of the mosque, along with dozens of other extremist settlers, under heavy protection from the Israeli forces.
Last night, the settlers went on provocative tours in the vicinity of the mosque and inside Jerusalem’s Old Town, said the report.
