In an effort to preserve and promote Jammu and Kashmir’s language and culture in Delhi, the administration has initiated plans to establish an institution, aided by the support of the Union Territory’s authorities.
During the celebration of Ladakh and JK’s foundation day at Raj Niwas, representatives of the JK community Delhi highlighted the absence of Kashmiri language education and institutional backing, leading to concerns about its decline.
In response, L-G VK Saxena pledged to establish a Kashmiri and Dogri language academy and explore the possibility of establishing a school similar to those in various state associations.
