LS polls: Baramulla records 21.37% turnout till 11am; Ladakh sees 27.87%

Baramulla: As phase five of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 progresses, voting in the Baramulla constituency began at 7am this morning. By 11 am, the overall voter turnout in Baramulla has reached 21.37%.

Key areas within the constituency show varied participation rates, with Langate leading at 24.21%, Handwara at 23.42%, and Rafiabad at 23.88%.

Other notable turnouts include Bandipora at 23.18%, Beerwah at 23.00%, and Karnah at 23.20%. Meanwhile, Sopore reports the lowest turnout at 11.75%.

In comparison, phase four saw Ladakh parliamentary constituency achieving a turnout of 27.87% by 11am.
