Over 120 bodies of Palestinians were retrieved from the rubble two days after Israeli forces withdrew from the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.

Medical sources at Kamal Adwan Hospital informed Anadolu Agency that emergency crews and civil defence teams have recovered over 120 Palestinian bodies from destroyed roads and the rubble of collapsed buildings in the Jabalia camp, with debris clearing still in progress.

On Friday, the Israeli military announced the end of its 20-day offensive in the Jabalia area.

Amid allegations that Tel Aviv was concealing accurate casualty figures, the offensive also resulted in the deaths of 10 Israeli personnel.

Nearly 36,400 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Israel began its assault nearly eight months ago. Most of the casualties have been women and children, with over 82,400 others injured, according to local health authorities.

Large areas of Gaza remain in ruins due to Israel’s crippling blockade of food, clean water, and medicine.

Israel faces genocide accusations at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which recently ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its operations in Rafah, where over 1 million Palestinians have sought refuge.
