Jammu: Three unidentified militants have been killed in a military operation in Sinoo area of Gandoha in Doda district on Wednesday.
A senior police officer told GNS that three militants have been killed so far while as search operation is still underway in the area.
The identity of the militants will be ascertained once the operation concludes.
The armed forces have recovered arms and ammunition including US made M4 rifle from their possession.
Earlier, a joint team of police and Indian Army launched a cordon and search operation in Sinoo area on specific input.
As the joint team approached towards the suspected area, the hiding militants fired upon the joint party, leading to the operation.
