New Delhi: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has accused Congress party of attempting to divide Hindus along caste lines while remaining silent on divisions within the Muslim community. Modi claimed that the Congress party’s strategy is to instill fear among Muslims, treating them as a vote bank for political gain.

“The Congress formula is to scare Muslims, use them as a vote bank, and strengthen that vote bank,” Modi said. He further slammed the party for never addressing caste differences within the Muslim community.

“Not a single Congress leader has ever acknowledged the numerous castes among Muslims. But when it comes to Hindus, the Congress always starts by discussing caste,” Modi said.

Modi went on to accuse Congress of stoking divisions among Hindus for political advantage, saying, “The Congress party’s policy is to pit one Hindu caste against another, knowing that it stands to benefit from this division. They want to keep the Hindu community in conflict, wherever elections are held in India, they apply this formula for their gain.”
