New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition claiming side effects, such as blood clotting, from COVID-19 vaccines.
A bench comprising Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and Justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra criticised the PIL, stating it was filed merely to create a sensation.
“File a class action suit instead! What’s the point of this? Consider the consequences of not taking the vaccine. This is just for sensation,” the bench remarked. The petition was filed by Priya Mishra and other petitioners.
