Jammu: PDP legislator Waheed Para accused the speaker of suppressing crucial discussions in the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session, claiming that political issues are being sidelined.
“This session will be mostly dominated by political issues, but the speaker wants silence on key matters like the release of political prisoners, statehood, Article 370, land rights, and the liquor ban bill,” Para said.
He added that issues like job termination and verification must be addressed, even though the Speaker is reluctant to allow them in the House.
