Bhuj: The Border Security Force (BSF) have apprehended 15 Pakistani fishermen and seized an engine-fitted country boat near the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat’s Kutch district.
Acting on specific intelligence about an unidentified boat near the Kori Creek border outpost, a BSF team launched a search operation.
“During the operation, 15 Pakistani fishermen were detained along with the boat,” the BSF said in a statement.
The fishermen, all residents of Sujawal district in Sindh province, were caught in the area under the BSF’s 68th battalion. The seized boat contained around 60 kg of fish, nine nets, diesel, ice, food supplies, wooden sticks, a mobile phone and Rs 200 in Pakistani currency, the release added.
