Jammu: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday announced that all government and private schools across the Jammu division will remain closed on September 3, 2025.
The closure order has been issued as a precautionary measure amid the prevailing situation in the region, officials said. The directive applies to both summer and winter zone schools.
Earlier this year, schools in several districts of Jammu division were shut on multiple occasions owing to adverse weather conditions and regrading the possibility of gusty winds, cloudbursts, flash floods and water logging.
Meanwhile, the DSEJ has advised parents and students to stay updated through official notifications for further instructions regarding the resumption of classes.
