Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) carried out a series of raids across six districts in Kashmir as part of its ongoing crackdown on the militancy network. Acting on a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the agency launched pre-dawn searches at multiple locations.
According to officials, SIA teams, assisted by the local police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), conducted simultaneous searches at 10 sites spread across South, North, and Central Kashmir. The raids took place in Anantnag, Shopian, Kulgam, Sopore, Budgam, and Bandipora districts.
While no arrests have been confirmed so far, reports said several electronic devices were seized for further examination.
Officials said the raids are part of a sustained effort to dismantle militant networks and weaken the “ecosystem of terrorism” in the Valley.
