Shopian: Shopian Police on Wednesday carried out searches at multiple locations across the district, targeting the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) activists.
According to officials, the houses of Dr Hameed Fayaz at Nadigam and Mohammad Yousuf Falahie at Chitragam, among others, were searched during the operation.
The searches were conducted as part of ongoing investigations in the area.
