Srinagar: Director Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie, carried out a late-night surprise inspection of the Emergency and Paediatric Emergency wings to assess the quality of patient care and on-ground functioning.
During the visit, Prof. Ganie interacted with doctors, paramedical staff, patients, and their attendants.
He issued firm instructions to ensure that every patient receives timely and comprehensive care, especially in high-pressure emergency settings.
Hospital officials said the Director emphasised that patient well-being remains the institute’s top priority and that he is personally monitoring all patient care areas.
He also reiterated SKIMS’ commitment to strengthening services, enhancing responsiveness, and maintaining round-the-clock vigilance to improve overall healthcare delivery at the institution.
