Srinagar: The State Investigation Agency of the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out raids at two locations in the Kashmir Valley, officials said on Friday.

They said searches are being conducted in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts in connection with the recent terror module in which the names of some doctors had surfaced.

A senior police officer told GNS that the raids in Srinagar are being carried out in the Batamaloo area, from where one of the accused, Tufail Ahmad Bhat, son of Niyaz Ahmad Bhat, was arrested.

Searches are also underway in Ganderbal, the officer added.

On November 22, the SIA had arrested Tufail from his residence at Diyarwani, Batamaloo, in connection with the terror case.
