Anantnag: A short story collection titled Nafas-e-Qalam by Kashmiri writer Arizoo Riyaz has been published by Free Minds Publication recently.
The book is a collection of short stories that address themes such as society, gender, morality, faith and political realities.
It also focuses on the experiences and perspectives of women, along with everyday social issues.
According to the author, the stories are intended to reflect aspects of society and present situations that may be uncomfortable or thought-provoking for readers.
Riyaz, who is from Anantnag in south Kashmir, is an alumna of Aligarh Muslim University. Her writing deals with identity, gender roles and personal struggles within social settings.
Nafas-e-Qalam is her first published work.
