1,900 killed, 20,000 injured in Iran amid US-Israeli strikes

At least 1,900 people have been killed and around 20,000 injured in Iran due to US-Israeli strikes so far, according to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

It remains unclear whether this figure includes the 104 fatalities reported by Iran’s military following a US strike on an Iranian warship near Sri Lanka on March 4.

Lebanon: Authorities report 1,189 deaths in Israeli strikes since March 2, including at least 124 children. More than 400 Hezbollah fighters have also been killed since the group entered the conflict, though it is unclear if they are included in the official toll.

Iraq: Iraqi health officials say at least 100 people have died since the crisis began, including civilians, members of Iran-backed militias, Kurdish Peshmerga fighters, and security personnel. A foreign crew member was also killed in the attack on tankers near a port.

Israel: Missile attacks from Iran and Lebanon have killed 19 civilians, according to emergency services. The Israeli military said four soldiers died in fighting in southern Lebanon. In a separate incident, an Israeli farmer was accidentally killed by Israeli fire near the border.

United States: Thirteen US service members have died — six in a refuelling aircraft crash over Iraq and seven during combat operations. Twelve troops were wounded, including two seriously, in an Iranian strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

United Arab Emirates: Ten people, including two soldiers, have been killed in Iranian attacks, officials said.

Qatar: Seven people died in a helicopter crash on March 22 during routine operations. The victims included four Qatari personnel, one Turkish serviceman, and two technicians linked to Turkey’s defence firm ASELSAN.

Kuwait: Six deaths have been reported, including two from Iranian attacks and four security personnel.

West Bank: Four Palestinian women were killed by falling shrapnel from an Iranian missile strike.

Syria: Four people died after an Iranian missile hit a building in Sweida on February 28.

Bahrain: Two people were killed in separate Iranian strikes, including one on a residential building in Manama. A Moroccan civilian contractor working with the UAE military was also killed in an attack on Bahrain.

Oman: Two people were killed in a drone strike in Sohar, while another died earlier in an attack on a tanker off Muscat.

Saudi Arabia: Two people were killed when a projectile struck a residential area in Al-Kharj near Riyadh.

France: One French soldier was killed and six others injured in a drone attack in northern Iraq, where they were involved in counter-terrorism training.
