Ghaziabad: Already facing multiple criminal cases over hate speeches and inflammatory remarks against Muslims, Dasna temple priest Yati Narsinghanand has now made a series of allegations against the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the RSS, the BJP and senior Sangh leaders during a recent podcast interview.
Speaking on the Market Times TV podcast hosted by Suresh Manchanda, Narsinghanand claimed that the Ram Temple was “never actually built” and alleged that it had become a “money collection centre” for the RSS. He further alleged that funds collected in the name of the temple were misused and demanded an investigation into the matter.
In the podcast, Narsinghanand also targeted RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that work related to the temple construction had been awarded to Muslim contractors and questioning the manner in which the temple was built. He further claimed that a probe into the temple’s finances would expose those allegedly responsible for financial irregularities.
Video clips of the interview have since gone viral on social media, drawing sharp reactions from supporters and critics alike. As of now, there has been no official response from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the RSS or the BJP to the remarks.
Narsinghanand has frequently courted controversy over speeches widely criticised as anti-Muslim and for allegedly promoting hate. Several FIRs and criminal cases have been registered against him over his remarks, including in connection with the 2021 Haridwar ‘Dharam Sansad’, where calls for violence against Muslims drew widespread condemnation from political leaders, civil society groups and international human rights organisations.
