Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha felicitated officers and personnel from the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), administration, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army, CAPFs, Border Roads Organisation (BRO), medical teams and service providers following the successful conclusion of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.
Sinha said nearly 4.8 lakh pilgrims had darshan of Baba Barfani during the 57-day pilgrimage, and credited the collective efforts of the various departments and agencies for ensuring its smooth conduct.
“This success belongs to Team Jammu and Kashmir, who turned duty into devotion,” Sinha said.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in the pilgrimage, saying their spirit of ‘seva’ reflected the true soul of Jammu and Kashmir.
The annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine attracts lakhs of devotees from across the country and is supported by multiple security, administrative, medical and logistical agencies.
