Fire breaks out at mattress factory in Jalandhar, 12 workers rescued

Firefighters fought a major blaze at a mattress manufacturing factory in Jalandhar on Thursday, with 12 workers rescued from the premises as heavy smoke and flames engulfed the facility, local media reported.

Officials said the fire broke out at 9 a.m. at a factory on Basti Peer Dad Road, which comes under the jurisdiction of Basti Bawa Khel police station, Punjab Newsline reported. To combat the fire.
