The Palestine Red Crescent Society said at least nine people were wounded in an Israeli strike on a tent where displaced Palestinians were sheltering in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The wounded were taken for medical treatment after the strike, Palestinian media said. The Palestine Red Crescent Society has emergency medical operations in Khan Younis and has served displaced people in the Mawasi area.

The reported strike was one of several attacks in southern Gaza in recent days. Palestinian sources have repeatedly reported deaths in strikes on areas where displaced civilians have taken refuge.
