Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday issued a fresh order assigning feeding departments to six ministers.
As per an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the allocations have been made in partial modification of Government Order No. 1810-JK(GAD) of 2024, dated October 22, 2024.
As per the order, Ali Mohammad Sagar has been assigned the Revenue Department, Power Development Department, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (DMRRR) Department, and Election Department. The Power Development Department has been designated as his feeding department.
Sakeena Masood (Itoo) has been assigned the Health and Medical Education Department and the Social Welfare Department, with the Health and Medical Education Department designated as her feeding department.
Javed Ahmad Rana has been assigned the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Tribal Affairs Department, and Transport Department. The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department will serve as his feeding department.
Mir Saifullah has been assigned the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, Culture Department, Youth Services and Sports Department, and ARI and Training Department. The Planning, Development and Monitoring Department has been designated as his feeding department.
Shamim Firdous has been assigned the School Education Department, Higher Education Department, and Jal Shakti Department, with the Jal Shakti Department designated as her feeding department.
Altaf Ahmad Wani has been assigned the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department and the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department. The Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department will serve as his feeding department. (GNS)
