Russia, Ukraine and the US to hold trilateral peace talks on Nov 10-11 in Abu Dhabi. Russia, Ukraine and the United States will hold trilateral peace talks in Abu Dhabi on Nov. 10-11, the Kremlin confirmed on Tuesday, restarting efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to President Vladimir Putin, will head the Russian delegation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press. Medinsky has previously sat in for Moscow in negotiations with Kyiv.

“Yes, they will come to Abu Dhabi in the coming days – 10-11 November and participate in the trilateral talks,” Peskov told reporters.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff disclosed the scheduled meetings on Monday, saying Washington will host Russian and Ukrainian delegations to discuss “post-war security guarantees, de-escalation, humanitarian issues and end of the war”.

The negotiations will be the first trilateral negotiations mediated by the United States since February, when the talks stalled as Washington refocused on the Iran conflict.

The new diplomatic push comes as the war reaches its fifth year with Russia and Ukraine remaining at loggerheads over territorial requests and security assurances.

US President Donald Trump favours a negotiated resolution, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says any deal must preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and come with a long-term security guarantee.
