Srinagar: A fresh spell of rain and thunderstorms is likely to hit Jammu and Kashmir later this afternoon or evening, according to Kashmir Weather Forecast.
The region is expected to remain mostly dry until noon before a new cloud band approaches, bringing gusty winds and precipitation to many areas.
More rain and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow as well, with light snowfall likely over higher elevations. Day temperatures across all districts are expected to dip significantly, staying below the normal range.
The weather is expected to improve from June 4, with dry conditions likely to prevail across the region.
