Dachhan: A military operation against militants began on Sunday in the Dachhan area of Kishtwar district in Jammu division, following specific intelligence inputs about suspicious movement in the region, News18 reported.
A joint team of armed forces, while carrying out a search operation, came under fire, prompting a gunfight, reported another TV channel quoting officials. The area has been cordoned off and additional reinforcements have been rushed in.
