Jammu: The Director School Education (DSE) Jammu on Sunday announced that all government and private schools across the division will remain closed on Monday due to inclement weather conditions.

This decision has been made in light of the forecast for heavy rainfall and adverse weather, prioritising the safety of students, teachers, and staff.

The closure applies to all educational institutions, including primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools in the division.

DSEJ said, “Parents and guardians are advised to refrain from sending their children to school and to stay updated through official channels for further announcements regarding the reopening of schools.”

It also requested the school authorities to ensure compliance with this directive and to take necessary measures to communicate the closure to all stakeholders. (KNO)
