Srinagar: A 55-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle in the Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar on Monday morning, officials said.
An official told that the accident occurred in the morning at Sanat Nagar after a vehicle hit a woman who was riding a scooty.
He said that she was shifted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
The woman has been identified as Shar Banu, wife of Ansar Hussain Khan, a resident of Jammu. Police have taken cognisance of the matter. (KNO)
