New Delhi: The Indian Embassy in the United States will organise an exhibition on Capitol Hill highlighting the human cost of terrorism, with a focus on the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam attack that left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead.

Titled “The Human Cost of Terrorism,” the exhibition will coincide with the first anniversary of the attack and is expected to be held at a public venue near Capitol Hill.

The display will feature visual and documented accounts of victims of terror attacks, along with details of groups accused by India of orchestrating cross-border terrorism, Indian Express reported.

The April 22 attack, among the deadliest against civilians in recent years, was initially claimed by The Resistance Front, believed to be a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Officials said the exhibition aims to underline India’s stance on terrorism and draw global attention to what it describes as a sustained pattern of cross-border attacks affecting multiple countries.

The display is also expected to reference past incidents, including the Mumbai, Pulwama and Uri attacks, as part of a broader narrative on the global impact of terrorism.

The Pahalgam attack had sharply escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, prompting diplomatic measures such as suspension of certain engagements and restrictions on trade and visas.
