Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced summer vacations for all government degree colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of the Jammu division from July 21 to August 2.
An order, issued by the Higher Education Department, said that all government degree colleges falling in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of the Jammu division shall observe the summer break for 13 days beginning July 21, 2026.
The directive has been communicated to all principals concerned, as well as the Director Colleges, JK, and the Registrar, officials added.
Notably, Schools in the valley are already under summer vacation, which was earlier declared from July 6 to July 19. (KNS)
