Quds News Network reported that the Israeli military stormed Sinjil, a Palestinian town situated in the West Bank, north of Ramallah.
Several sources from the area said that the Israeli military raided the town and conducted a search operation in several homes and the army arrested some Palestinians in the process. The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported, based on eyewitnesses’ reports, that a couple of young men were detained due to their alleged involvement in the recent violent events.
The Israeli military did not comment on the reported violations or confirm the arrests.
Sinjil has been witnessing continuous Israeli military activity while violent events in the West Bank continue to grow. These raids usually involve the searching of Palestinian homes for suspected criminals.
This operation is carried out amid a wave of instability in the region and ongoing Israeli military activity. Clashes in the West Bank, which is already under a great deal of stress.
