Al Jazeera reported Saturday that an Israeli raid on Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip killed at least one person, citing local sources.

The report did not immediately give further details of the circumstances of the raid or the identity of the person killed.

The reported death occurs amid ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza despite a ceasefire declared in October 2025. Al Jazeera reported Saturday that Israeli strikes elsewhere in the enclave also caused casualties.

Israeli strikes in Gaza earlier this week killed at least five Palestinians including two children and a Hamas commander, Palestinian health officials told Reuters. The Israeli military claimed that one of the strikes was directed at a Hamas commander.

In the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood of Gaza City on Friday, an Israeli strike on a motorbike killed one Palestinian and injured others, according to Al Jazeera.

The latest incident in Jabalia could not be immediately independently verified.
