Srinagar: After the funeral prayers of the civilian, Akeel Ahmed Bhat, who succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS, massive clashes erupted between government forces and locals.
Bhat had sustained a bullet injury after forces opened fire to chase away the protesters near the encounter site in Hakripora area of Pulwama yesterday. LeT commander Abu Dujana and his associate were killed in the encounter.
Witnesses said that men, women and children hurled rocks at forces deployed outside the CRPF camp in Haal village to express their anger at the killing of Akeel Ahmad Bhat.
