Requests regular staff to cancel their leaves

Srinagar: All regular employees of health department on Friday wore blank badge in solidarity with protesting National Health Mission (NHM) employees across state.

Pertinently, the black band protest was announced by President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK), Dr Suhail Naik on Thursday when he addressed protesting NHM employees at Pratap Park Srinagar.

Requesting regular heath staff to cancel their leaves immediately so that health care system can function uninterrupted, President DAK stresses upon Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu to come with a road map and get protesting essential manpower back to their work.

Further requesting people for full cooperation, DAK appealed routine patients to curtail their visits to emergency departments for blood pressure screening and allow desired patients to get proper treatment in these trying times.

“We are pumping our blood and sweat to profession to get our people relieved from pain and agony,” President DAK said.
