Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday said that a foreign skier died and four others were rescued after an avalanche hit the ski resort of Gulmarg.
The deceased skier is a Russian, police informed in a tweet.
One Russian skier has come under avalanche in Gulmarg and died on spot. 04 more skiers of the group rescued.
