Demanded removal of laws like AFSPA ‘which gives license to the army to kill anybody and everybody’

Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) chairperson Javaid Tenga in a statement, has said that once again Kashmiri bodies are being found ‘in what is most probably a fake encounter’.

In a statement, Tenga said, “once again whole Kashmir is in turmoil. 6 Kashmiris (have been killed) so far,” adding that these incidents are ‘encouraged by the impunity of laws like AFSPA’.

KCCI demanded removal of laws like AFSPA which gives ‘license to the army to kill anybody and everybody without any accountability. KCCI also said that by the decision of the Supreme Court of staying any proceedings on the previous FIR gives further impetus to the forces to do such things.

“The chamber has already asked that the only way to stop this is to settle Kashmir once for all it is the duty of the state government and all to demand the same and bring us out from this daily bloodshed
