Suspected militants on Monday fired at the car of National Conference leader Gh Mohiudin at Murran in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, killing his personal security officer and leaving another injured.
An official said that Mohiudin escaped unhurt in the attack. However, two of his personal security officers (PSOs) were critically injured in the attack, he said.
“The attackers also decamped with two rifles,” he added.
