Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between militants and the armed forces in Arwani area of Anantnag district. The gunfight broke out after forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in the area.
Clashes have erupted near the site of gunfight. Reports said that youth took to streets and clashed with the forces as the news of gunfight spread in the area.
Reports also suggest that several militants are said to be trapped.
