Srinagar: At minus 4 degree Celsius, Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season as temperatures continued to drop across the state on Friday.
“The temperatures dropped due to clear night sky. During the next 48 hours, the state’s higher reaches are likely to receive light snow as a Western Disturbance is expected to become active during this period,” a Met Department official said.
The minimum temperatures in Pahalgam and Gulmarg were minus 6.0 degrees Celsius and minus 6.2, respectively.
