Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Chairman of the Hurriyat (M) on Thursday remembered former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto who was assassinated on this day in 2007.
In a tweet, Mirwaiz said:
Remembering #ShaheedBenazirBhutto a great leader and an ardent supporter of #Kashmir cause on her #MartyrdomAnniversary ,recall our first meeting at OIC summit in Casablanca 1994,her great affection for me whom she called her younger brother. Benazir Bhutto, the first and only female prime minister of Pakistan, was assassinated during a public rally on December 27, 2007.
