Srinagar: National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah has said that they way Narendra Modi is fighting the elections it seems that former Prime Minister of India late Rajiv Gandhi is his principal rival.
Has Modi ji discovered a time machine? It’s almost as if he’s fighting the 1989 general election & Rajiv Gandhi is his principal rival! Oh to be 19 again.

Recently, Modi came under intense criticism over his comment that Rajiv Gandhi died as “Bhrashtachari (corrupt) number 1”. Most of the opposition leaders have condemned the statement, saying it was inappropriate of him to make such statements about a deceased predecessor, who had been assassinated by terrorists.
While Rahul Gandhi had responded with love and hug, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had said Modi, despite his party’s nationalistic credentials, had criticised a “martyr”.
Modi once again spoke the former Prime Minister by alleging that Gandhi and family were sent for a vacation on board the Navy’s INS Virat, contending that it had compromised national security.
was positioned for protection of maritime boundaries, when it was sent to transport Rajiv Gandhi and his family to an island for their holiday. Even his in-laws were onboard INS Virat.
Modi also tweeted about it.
Ever imagined that a premier warship of the Indian armed forces could be used as a taxi for a personal holiday?
One Dynasty did it and that too with great swag.
