More than a thousand vehicles were left stranded on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Thursday following landslides and shooting stones in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports landslides and shooting stones at Iron Stand Digdol blocked the highway last evening.
Around 1500 heavy motor vehicles and 300 light motor vehicles are stranded between Seri and Digdol.
Meanwhile, Thousands of vehicles were left stranded on the historic Mughal road from Bufliaz side on Thursday after the authorities didn’t allow them to move ahead because of one-way restrictions.
A traffic police official said that they had issued a traffic advisory yesterday but the motorists didn’t follow them.
