Srinagar: An army man who was injured critically on Monday in Pakistani shelling at Shahpur sector along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
Army spokesperson Lt Col Devender Anand said that Lance Naik Mohammad Jawed succumbed to injuries today morning.
Jawed, a resident of Marrar, Tehsil Morrahi, District Khagaria, Bihar, was injured after Pakistani army resorted to ‘unprovoked ceasefire violation’ in Shahpur Sector along LoC on Monday evening, the spokesman said.
